Community isn’t just in our name, it’s who we are. Our commitment to community is at the heart of everything we do. By partnering with organizations that DO good, we are able to #UNbankForGood. Community thrives when local supports local, which is exactly what we strive for in every single event and partnership. Community Choice will always be, first and foremost, #UNapologeticallyLocal.
Making a Difference
In 2016, we doubled down on our commitment to #UNbankForGood and launched the Community Choice Foundation – an independent 501(c)(3) formed to serve local non-profit organizations within the communities Community Choice serves. The Foundation, through support from Community Choice, its employees, members and partners, has provided more than $1 million dollars in monetary support to over 500 Central Iowa non-profits. This support allows these worthy organizations to improve the quality of life for Iowans in need, build local economies and grow our communities. Investing in communities and the future is engrained in the culture at Community Choice.

Cooperative Crafts
BILL Beer is the first release from Cooperative Crafts, our upcoming line of UNexpectedly delightful craft beers. YUP, we’re giving back through beer. With every can of BILL Beer you enjoy, a portion of the proceeds goes directly to our Foundation to support local charities, community projects and causes that matter across Iowa.
Upcoming Events
Once you start noticing those blue and green C’s around town, you’ll see ‘em everywhere! If there’s an event in Central Iowa, there’s a good chance we’re there. Find us hanging out at our very own Food Truck Parc in Ames or hosting trivia nights at our Locust Experience Center in downtown Des Moines or helping at community events throughout the area.
