What Are UNbanking Boxes and What Can They do for Me?

An UNbanking Box allows you to skip the teller line and speak directly with a member of our contact center! Our contact center is located in Johnston, IA. Yup, you’re connected with a REAL person who works at Community Choice right here in central Iowa and lives & breathes all things UNbanking. No robots, no random strangers in remote locations. Real UNbankers helping you UNbank. They can assist you with nearly everything a teller can do in person – deposits, withdrawals, payments and a whole lot more.
Are They a Replacement for Traditional Tellers?

While UNbanking Boxes can do a lot of the same things as tellers there is one thing they will never be able to replace: face-to-face communication. In-person interactions are our bread & butter. UNbanking Boxes help you get certain tasks done quickly so you have more time to chat with the friendly faces at your local branch. The boxes are there to help our tellers, not replace them!
How do UNbanking Boxes Benefit Branches?

UNbanking Boxes greatly reduce errors and scams. They provide an extra layer of protection to help reduce check fraud; their automated services can prevent counting errors; the boxes decrease the risk of general human error across the board. UNbanking Boxes also help reduce some of our staff’s end-of-day processes, which allows our in-person UNbankers to serve you even better!
What Role Will UNbanking Boxes Play in the Future?
This technology will set the stage for Community Choice to provide fast, convenient service in new environments where fully-staffed branches wouldn’t be possible. UNbanking Boxes also have the potential to replace traditional ATMs in drive-through lanes and other locations allowing us to provide superior, efficient service to you from anywhere!
